My name is Pa Xiong and I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Mai Kia Xiong, and her family, who are going through one of the most difficult times of their lives. A devastating house fire has taken everything — their home, their belongings, their sense of normal. They are safe, thankfully, but starting over from nothing is incredibly hard.

On the late evening of Sunday, September 21st, a tragic house fire completely destroyed the home of my sister, Mai Kia, and her family. In just a matter of moments, they lost everything — their home, their belongings, and the sense of security they had worked so hard to build.

Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they are now faced with the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch. Clothes, furniture, and daily essentials.

Right now, they are staying in a hotel, trying to find stability while dealing with the shock and loss.

We’re asking for help from our community, friends, and kind-hearted strangers to support them through this difficult time. Every donation — no matter how small — will go directly toward emergency housing, clothing, food, and other basic needs as they begin the long road to recovery.
