Help Mai Duy Quang daily medicine to survive

Christmas is the season of love, of sharing with those less fortunate than us. I would like to share about the pitiful situation of one of my student.

Nhi Tran came to the US to study at Bellevue College as an international student, her husband and children came with her as dependents. However, life has unforeseen circumstances, Nhi's husband, Mai Duy Quang, suddenly had a stroke. Quang was in ICU for several months, treated at Harborview Hospital, and then transferred to Queen Ann Healthcare for rehab. Quang has now been discharged from the hospital and returned home. However, the doctor has installed a shunt in Quang's head and this tube will remain in his head for the rest of his life to keep his brain functioning and blood circulating. Quang needs to take 12 different pills every day to maintain normal body function. Nhi has just given birth to a baby girl 2 months ago. With 2 small children, a 6-year-old boy and a 2-month-old girl. The husband now has the brain of a 3-year-old baby and no income, with no government support of any kind because Nhi is on a student visa, all their saving and resources have been drained out.

I am Nhi's teacher, I taught Nhi how to drive, Nhi was 8 months pregnant when she took lessons with me. Seeing Nhi with all her difficulties, yet still trying hard to study to maintain her status so as not to be expelled from the US. Nhi would take the bus to the hospital after school every day to take care of her husband, and taking care of her baby at night. Life seems to be unbearable for her. Nhi is an international student so she doesn't receive support from social programs like the people with permanent status here. She has been trying very hard to cope, but all her saving and resources has been drained.

I’m writing this, calling on everyone if you can help her with anything, $1, $5, $10 … any donations will help. Please keep them in your prayer and help this couple with some money for medicine to help them get through this difficult period. Currently Nhi is waiting for approval to officially start working, hopefully there will be a door opening for her soon. Giáng sinh là mùa của yêu thương, là sẻ chia với những hoàn cảnh bi thương, kém may mắn hơn chúng ta. Mình xin phép cho mình chia sẻ về hoàn cảnh đáng thương của một em học trò.

Em Nhi Trần sang đây du học tại trường Bellevue College, WA, chồng và con cùng qua theo diện ăn theo. Cuộc đời có những việc thật không ngờ. Chồng Nhi, em Mai Duy Quang đang mạnh khoẻ thì chẳng may bổng một ngày bị đột quỵ (stroke), Quang bị bán thân bất toại, được điều trị tại bệnh viện Harborview, và sau đó được chuyển qua rehab tại Queen Ann Healthcare. Giờ Quang đã được xuất viện về nhà, tuy nhiên trong đầu của Quang bác sĩ có lắp đặt 1 ống shunt và ống này sẽ tồn tại trong đầu suốt đời để giữ cho não bộ tiếp tục hoạt động và máu huyết lưu thông. Mỗi tháng em Quang cần sử dụng 12 loại thuốc để duy trì cơ thể hoạt động bình thường. Em Nhi lại vừa mới sinh em bé gái được 2 tháng. 2vc với 2 con nhỏ, 1 bé trai 6t, bé gái 2 tháng. Chồng thì giờ não bộ bằng em bé 3t thôi.

nước Mỹ, trưa tan học lại đón bus qua bệnh viện chăm chồng, tối về lại chăm con nhỏ. Cuộc sống quá bế tắc và nhiều khó khăn. Muốn giúp em ấy cũng không biết giúp cách nào. Em Nhi lại là du học sinh nên không được các chương trình xã hội giúp đỡ như những người dân ở đây. Em ấy đã và đang rất cố gắng chống chọi.

Mình viết status này, kêu gọi mọi người nếu thấy có thể, xin giúp vc em Nhi một ít tiền thuốc men để em vượt qua giai đoạn khó khăn này.
