Maholis and Alejandra are a resilient and hardworking couple who moved from Venezuela to the United States in search of a better, safer life. Fleeing from the challenges and dangers of their home country, including severe homophobia, they have always followed the law and worked diligently to build a peaceful life here. They have never committed any crimes and have been model members of the community.

Unfortunately, their pursuit of a better life took a sudden and unexpected turn when ICE detained them during a routine visa appointment. This situation has placed them in a vulnerable position, and they now need our support to navigate the complex legal process and secure their future.
