Help Mahogany and Rainbow Stay Housed

Well, my name is Mahogany and I have a 2-year-old princess, Rainbow. I was homeless for 14 years; however, we were in a shelter from Oct 2023 until Aug 1st. Everything is looking up, right? At least that’s what I thought. As soon as we moved into our new place, I got laid off and Rainbow was kicked out of daycare.

So this last month has been very HARD!!!! I’m struggling to get afloat and I just need to get my rent paid for a couple of months to really be able to focus on cooking, which is my passion. We need things for the house, new clothes, everything. We lost everything and really just need a helping hand.

As a single mother who is doing it all alone, I just need the help of my peers and community. I guess I’m just hoping someone out there has anything to spare. If 3,000 people give $1, I’m set and can at least not worry about rent, save up, start cooking, and really breathe for a minute. Being afraid of having to go back to a shelter is not an option. I’d rather ask for help, so please find it in your hearts to help us, especially Rainbow. My princess deserves the world. I’m doing my best, just need a little boost.
