I am writing to you a story from beloved Gaza, one of two million true stories.

I am the young man Mahmoud Surour, a Palestinian resident of the Gaza Strip, I am 26 years old.

I have achieved part of my dreams. I married my life partner, my beloved wife, a few months before the war.

But in an unfair world, we had, like any newly married couple, a warm home and a beautiful family. We left our home at the beginning of the war because our area was the first to be in danger, the almukhabarat area that was completely destroyed.

We built our home with love. Our hearts were broken from all those hardships. On the one hand, we lost our home, and on the other hand, our hearts were broken from all those hardships. We were unable to bear the terrifying sounds of land, sea and air bombardment and phosphorus bombs. We lacked feeling and security.

Then we were displaced to southern Gaza and here we are back from scratch, where we have no safe shelter. We live in tents in an unsafe environment, we have been living for a year in tents that have become dilapidated over time, the war has not only caused physical destruction, but also caused severe emotional and psychological exhaustion that has deeply affected my family.

But the urgent need for financial assistance now lies in securing the necessities of life such as food, water and clothing in light of the harsh conditions that Gaza is experiencing.

Now I am here, my friends, to stand with me and help me so that I can support my family
