Help Mahmoud’s family evacuate and rebuild

Donation protected
I am Mahmoud Abu Jamous a 24-year-old Palestinian man from Khan Yunis, Gaza. I take care of my family of 11. My father Wheed is 64 years old. His spine was injured before the war, he was supposed to have an MRI to locate the vertebrae that is injured. However, hospitals are operating in emergency mode only. I have been able to purchase some painkillers for him. But his condition is now dire as he can no longer stand. A doctor told us he will need a cartilage operation. This of course is not available currently. I tried to get him evacuated to Egypt for treatment but was told that is only for incurable patients who were injured in bombings. During the night my father cries out in pain, it is unbearable that I cannot do anything for him. I am ashamed I cannot help on my own and pray this fundraiser will pay to evacuate not only my father for his treatment but my mother Fatima, age 63 and my sisters Eman age 36 and Hamdiya age 34. All of which are currently in Rafah. I would like to eventually evacuate my other two sisters along with their husbands and young children and my two younger brothers and my fiancé. For now we will hold out in Gaza until the crisis ends or until we save enough money. I do not want to leave Gaza, but my fear is how my family will live if I die.

If we are unable to secure $20,000USD needed or are denied evacuation the money will be used to rebuild our home and to provide internet to the community.
I am a software and network engineer and had my own business Asmer Net for 4 years. I created a small, simple company to distribute internet service at low prices and high speeds. It covered a large area benefiting more than 800 people. My employees and participants were happy to deal with me. We have been able to repair some of the damage caused by bombings in the residential areas of Khan Yunis that I cover with internet services. This area was cut off from the world with no communication for 120 days. I provided a small part of that area with internet so the people there could contact their relatives outside of Gaza. It has been shocking to see everything I worked so hard for destroyed but I felt proud to be able to do something good.

Organizer info:
My name is Natalie, I live in upstate New York, USA. I became friends with Mahmoud and his extended family via social media. Mahmoud is such a caring young man. Even though he is the one who could lose his life at any moment he takes time out of his day to check in on me. When I was sick, he sent well wishes for a full and speedy recovery. After weeks of chatting with Mahmoud and learning about his life I asked if there was anything I could do to help. I was thinking I could donate funds however he asked me to start a fundraiser for him to evacuate his father. I do not take such a responsibility lightly.
I told Mahmoud we should explain all the hard work and hours he has put in to help his community stay connected. He is a humble man and is not looking for accolades or praise. He just wants to help his family evacuate.
Mahmoud has shared with me the great amount of pain and disappointment he feels but he still loves life, and they will rebuild. "The war will end, and everyone will collect their belongings that were not destroyed by the bombings or stolen by thieves, and they will remove the rubble and build their home again. This is our life."

Transparency: Mahmoud and his family have social media pages that go back for years. There is no question of them not being who they say they are and it is clear they are in Gaza. Mahmoud has all my information, my intentions are pure as I am only here to assist in transferring funds. If there are any issues with transferring funds all money will be returned to the donors.
