Hello, My name is Mahmoud. I am from Gaza City and have been displaced 18 times. We were recently displaced to the south but have now gone back to the north. Despite the destruction this is our home. We’re a family of 14 including myself, my parents and 6 children. We were a family of 16 but my sister and her husband were martyred a few months leaving their 4 children orphaned. Life is very difficult. For over two years we’ve been constantly bombed, displaced and starved. Since the ceasefire began no aid has reached us. The food that is available is very expensive. We also pay rent each month as our home was destroyed. The apartment we’re living in is badly damaged. As everything has been destroyed we have no source of income and depend entirely on donations to survive. My fundraising campaign has been verified by the grassroots humanitarian initiative Smoud for Gaza (@smoud_for_gaza). I am struggling with my fundraising campaign, donations are coming in slowly.
