Hello, my name is Mahmoud Aljazzar, I’m a 20-year-old student from Gaza.

During the war, I was severely injured by a bullet that shattered the bones in my arm and completely cut the main nerves. My hand is now paralyzed and wasting away, and I live with constant pain. Doctors told me I need urgent surgery with metal implants and nerve repair – something not available in Gaza due to the crisis.

I dream of becoming a doctor and helping others, but this injury is stopping me from living a normal life, studying, or even moving freely.
