Help Mahmoud and his family survive in Gaza

Donation protected
I am Ella and I am fundraising for Mahmoud Hossam Al-Hassi and his 8 family members so they can now rebuild their lives in Gaza.

UPDATE 16/07/2025: Thank you once again for your continued support for this campaign. I am extremely grateful and so is Mahmoud and his family. Thank you for continuing to share his story and for your donations to Mahmoud and his family. Mahmoud has been updating me on his and his family's situation. Unfortunately, it has been getting worse because food and other essentials have become more scarce. It is hard for Mahmoud to be able to get food for him and his family because the prices are continuing to increase and there is a lack of aid. He has recently told me that he needs to be able to afford food so he and his family can live. He wants to be able to save his and his family's life by getting food since his mother is seriously ill. Mahmoud's mother is currently suffering from malnutrition and severe anemia; he needs to be bale to get food so she can survive. Please help me spread the word of this news and his campaign. Thank you to all who have donated and thank you to those that share and continue to support Mahmoud and his family. We are all extremely grateful!

UPDATE 22/05/2025: Thank you for your continued donations, I, Mahmoud and his family are extremely grateful to those of you that continue to share his story and donate to him and his family. Due to the ongoing situation and scarcity when it comes to food, he has decided to reduce the goal amount to £20,000 so that they are able to afford food like bread; and so they are able to survive. The donations that he receives will go towards purchasing essentials and ingredients like flour and other foods so that they are able to satisfy their hunger. Thank you once again for your donations, please help me to help Mahmoud and his family!

UPDATE 15/05/2025: Thank you again to all of you that have donated so far and continue to donate. It is because of you that Mahmoud is able to live his life and provide for his family. Unfortunately, Mahmoud has been in the hospital with his mother recently and she is very sick. He has had to donate blood to his mother since she has really low iron, which is really dangerous.

Due to the lack of hospitals and clinics in Gaza it has been very difficult for his mother to receive treatment urgently. Mahmoud is in desperate need of your donations to help treat his mother to buy medicine and food for her. The cost to feed his mother alone is $50 (£37.69), he needs to be able to feed his family and mother so that they can continue to survive in Gaza. The food prices keep increasing die to lack of access to food. Please help me to help Mahmoud.

Every single donation matters and Mahmoud and his family are eternally grateful to all of you for donating. Thank you once again and thank you in advance!!!

UPDATE: First of all I, and Mahmoud would like to thank every single one of you that have donated; he and his family are eternally grateful to those of you that have helped him in this situation that he and his family are in.

Because of your donations, Mahmoud was able to purchase coats, socks and jackets for him and his family to protect them from the harsh weather. In addition, I have some good news! Mahmoud and his family are no longer living in tents since they were able to return home, but they still really need your help.

Due to the ongoing situation in Palestine, Mahmoud and his family now need to rebuild their lives. They returned home, only to find that their home and surroundings had been destroyed. They need to reach their donation goal in order to rebuild their home and livelihoods as well as survive.

It is now the holy month of Ramadan, and Mahmoud and his family are unable to open/break their fasts because they do not have enough money to buy food. They want to be able to carry out this obligation as it is their right to in their religion; and they also want to be able to eat and return to normality when the holy month of Ramadan ends. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated, and if you are unable to donate (which is understandable) please share this campaign so it can gain more traction; so that individuals that are in the position to donate can do so. Thank you once again, we hope to receive good news soon. Mahmoud and his family are relying on you <3!

I am going to send the money raised through this campaign straight to Mahmoud and his family as soon as they reach their goal.

Unfortunately, Mahmoud does not always have access to Internet due to the ongoing war in Gaza, which is why the funds will be raised through me. Below is his story, please take your time to read and donate what you can. Anything helps

Here is his story:

I am Mahmoud Hossam Al-Hassi, and My family consists of 8 members

- My dad Hussam Ali Al-Hassi, 49 years old
- My mother, Sherine Muhammad Al-Hassi, 44 years old
- My married sister, Walaa Hossam Al-Hassi, is 27 years old and has a one-year-old daughter, Sidra Salah Abdel-Al.
- My sister, Laila Hossam Al-Hassi, 25 years old
- My little sister, Reman Hossam Al-Hassi, 19 years old
- My brother, Abdul Aziz Hossam Al-Hassi, 15 workers
- And my other brother, Ahmed Hossam Al-Hassi, 14 years old

I am a young man over 23 years old. I graduated from the Faculty of Law and began practicing the profession of law. My goal was to become a judge who establishes justice among people. I practiced many sports, the most beloved of which were football and swimming, in addition to participating in a bodybuilding gym. I worked hard on myself to do so. Over the course of years of studying and working until I reached my goal and dream, the first day of its realization was the 7th of last October, when I had an appointment with the director of a law firm where I would practice my work, but suddenly, on the morning of that day, my life was turned upside down, and my goals began to disappear little by little, as... The outbreak of the war, in its first days, caused the bombing of the entire neighborhood in which I lived, which was the Beach camp, which caused the death of 32 people in one strike, in which my friends and some of my family and neighbors became victims of the war, so the family was separated and the journey of displacement from one place to another began Our homes were bombed, our shops for our work were bombed, and all our dreams were bombed. My family was dispersed and I returned. Now I have not seen the rest of my family for 300 days. Only my mother and sisters remained with me, my first family, but my grandmother and the rest separated. As the conditions deteriorated and work stopped throughout this period without a source of income, we were no longer able to. To continue, we have spent all of what we have, which made me forced to make this account and ask for help from abroad to support my family and mine and help us leave Gaza to a safe place, the cost of leaving Gaza is five thousand dollars per person They have no breadwinner other than me. This story is for people of good conscience and who still has humanity.

I want to save myself and the rest of my family from death because of the war.
