My name is Mahmoud. I am 24 years old from northern Gaza. I am writing with a heavy heart and deep pain, but also with hope that there are still people of kindness in this world.
During the war, our home was bombed while we were inside it. On that day, I lost my entire family. I survived, but I was injured, and now only my younger brother and I remain. My brother is 19 years old. We are completely alone.
Today, we live in a small tent on rented land, and we must pay rent based on the size of the tent itself. We left our home with nothing. Our house was destroyed, and we do not own anything anymore. Our living conditions are extremely difficult, and God alone knows how hard our days are.
I am injured and in need of dental implants, but I cannot afford any medical treatment. Despite our situation, we do not receive any humanitarian aid because we are not considered a “family” since neither my brother nor I is married. This has left us without support, food assistance, or medical help.
I am a young man who wants to live with dignity. I want to be able to take care of myself and my brother, and one day to get married, but my circumstances do not allow me to do even the most basic things. Many people tell me to get married, but they do not see the reality I live in every day.
I am not asking for much. I am only asking for enough support to survive, to heal, and to rebuild a simple life for myself and my brother. Your help no matter how small can make a real difference in our lives.
May God bless everyone who stands with us and supports us in our time of need. Thanks for reading my story.
Every donation counts.
