Help Mahmoud Abu Amer's Family Navigate War in Gaza
Hello everyone, my name is Nedaa' Alawawdeh, and I am launching this campaign on behalf of my friend, Mahmoud Abu Amer, who is currently displaced in Gaza. He shared this message for me to pass on to you:
"My name is Mahmoud Abu Amer, and I am part of a five-member family that has been living in a tent in Al Mawasi area in Khan Younes for over a year. We lost our home and everything we had due to the ongoing genocidal campaign in Gaza.
Our living conditions are unbearable—no electricity, no reliable shelter, and no clean water. Food and drink are scarce, and we face daily threats to our lives. We are exhausted, both physically and emotionally, but we are holding onto some hope.
To escape this crisis and secure a safe future for my family, we must cover large fees required for safe passage out of Gaza. Although the Rafah crossing is closed currently, some of the funds will be allocated in case anything changes in the future so that we can be ready to move to safety. The rest is for basic needs like food and shelter in this freezing weather.
These costs are impossible for us to manage on our own. We are aiming to raise $20,000 as an initial goal for this campaign.
That’s why we are reaching out to you for help. Your generosity can bring us closer to safety and provide my children with the chance to live in peace. Every donation, no matter the amount, is a lifeline.
Please join us in this fight for survival and share the link to this campaign everywhere you can!
Thank you for standing with us in our time of need."
