My name is Anisa Hasil Baloch. I am collecting funds for my 17 year old niece, Mahjabeen Baloch, to get a diagnosis from a psychiatrist.

In June 2024, my niece started having hallucinations and delusions, acting in unusual ways and saying very unusual things and developed paranoia. She used to be a very social creature with a lot of friends but all of a sudden, she has lost interest in her friends and daily life activities. She has been stealing pills at times as well. We have taken her to various religious scholars in Turbat, Balochistan but nothing has helped.

Her mother is a single mother who barely makes a small living to cover some expenses for her two kids through embroidery work and lives with my mother and our three brothers and their wives. We have a very small income for the family since one of my brothers is disabled and only one of them works. I was working previous so contributed parts of my income as well but I lost my job in August 2024. We currently have only one person, with a income of Rs. 60,000 (216 USD), supporting a family of 8 adults and two children. We live in a small village close to Turbat in Makran, Balochistan. There are no good hospitals in the region. Hence, we need help and funds to cover our transportation costs to travel to Karachi show my niece to a psychiatrist and cover medicines.
