Charming kittycat Mufasa is the devoted, loving furbaby of Michelle Elizabeth.  Michelle is a talented costume designer in the film & television industry which like many of us has been negatively impacted by the coronavirus quarantine.

Unhappily, gorgeous Mufasa is having some medical problems and Michelle, in spite of not working has already spent more than $2500 of her limited savings on his care.  Even while facing some personal challenges Michelle's first concern is not being able to provide the care her angel will need during this challenging time.

Mufasa has been seen by two different doctors, and after several thorough and expensive tests and imaging they have determined he has an intestinal problem, but they have not been able yet to determine the cause.  Even though he is now on several medications, including prednisone and gabapentin, plus a special diet his intestinal condition aggravates his preexisting arthritis and causes so much pain that he cannot groom himself.  Michelle does the best she can to care for him and clean him.  She has provided a special, heated bed and blankets around the house so he can find comfortable resting spots nearby at any time.

Michelle is the sweetest person with the most generous heart.  I created this fundraiser so her friends and family can join in and help ease the burden in the same way she would do for any of us were the circumstances reversed.
