Help Maggie kick leukemia’s butt!

In May 2018 Maggie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and spent months in the Orlando Cancer Center undergoing multiple rounds of intensive chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant - courtesy of her sister Marlene.
From the onset of this initial diagnosis Maggie kept her fighting spirit and adopted the mantra: Stay Positive. No Matter What! She wowed the hospital staff with her indomitable spirit and sense of humor. The whole floor turned out to watch her ring that bell.
Her doctors announced in April 2019 that her fight with cancer was finally won. AML was knocked into remission and she was FINALLY cleared to resume life as usual. The year of financial, medical, and emotional struggle was coming to a close and she delighted in returning to work and wandering around Target.
Unfortunately, a few weeks after celebrating her rebirth, it was discovered that leukemia cells were regenerating in her body. Already weakened and ravaged by a year of chemotherapy she is facing this fight once again with the same drive and motivation, but financially she is overwhelmed. From rent, household expenses, to medical bills and prescriptions.
Maggie has exhausted all paid leave options and has no disability benefits. If we can raise enough for Maggie to cover this battle, she can more fully concentrate on the priority of getting healthy and strong.
