Help Maggie Keep Her Home Amid Health Crisis

Hello,

It's very embarrassing to have to do this but I am reaching out to the community once again for help.

I am now almost 3 years into my illness. My husband and parents have been able to keep us barely above water for a long time, as I saw doctor after doctor and took test after test. We finally found a specialist last year who believed I have an advanced case of Lyme Disease and immediately put me on antibiotics. I have been on heavy doses of 1, then 2, antibiotics for the past six months. It alleviated some of my symptoms- I was no longer collapsing, the numbness in my face & lower extremities lessened, the constant ringing in my ears disappeared. However, I've been left with a core group of debilitating symptoms that are primarily neurological in nature. Constant burning in my face, head, neck that has traveled lower in my body to my armpits, pelvis, and feet; never ending pressure and pain in all of my joints. I'm totally unable to sleep most nights, am kept up by the pain, and haven't left the house more than a literal handful of times since Christmas.

Despite all of this, I've been putting out dozens of applications for remote work over the past few months but none have panned out/turned into actual employment yet. My husband had to change jobs in order to make a bit more money but that left us without health insurance for most of the winter, yet we still needed to pay for all of medication, doctor's visits, etc. Our previous housing management company was usually pretty understanding but our property recently changed hands and the new management has been threatening to evict us for being behind.

Please, more than anything, I just want to be able to keep my house. We love it here, and have a 14 year old stepson that has come to call this place home. So I'm asking for a bit more help to get out from under the boot of eviction. We are doing the very best we can but have still managed to fall behind due to all the expenses.
