Help Us Get Justice and Healing for Our Dog, Maggie

Nearly four weeks ago, my mom's dog Maggie was seriously injured while in the care of a vet clinic we trusted. What was supposed to be a routine surgery turned into a nightmare when she was returned to us with what appeared to be burn injuries.

For two weeks, Maggie remained under their care with little to no improvement. These are extensive, traumatic 3rd and 4th degree burns! Communication was vague, and our questions were met with silence or deflection. We finally decided to transfer her to a new vet, where she’s now getting the proper treatment she needs.

While we’re relieved she’s in better hands, we’re now facing overwhelming medical costs and the emotional toll of trying to seek answers and accountability. We paid nearly $4,000 to the original vet for her "routine surgery" that left her burned and have since asked for a refund. We have heard nothing back.

We’re not naming the clinic at this time, as we’re still gathering information and exploring our options. But we believe this story needs to be told. No pet or pet owner should ever go through something like this.
