Maggie brings loyalty, care, and endless generosity to everyone in her family. She’s a Veteran who has lived an incredibly full and exciting life, always putting others before herself. Now, she’s facing a difficult chapter. Recently, Maggie was hospitalized for heart issues and underwent a heart catheterization, which revealed significant blockage in one of her heart valves. She will need to stay in the hospital for several more days, and later this month, she’ll require additional surgery. These health challenges have made it hard for her to breathe, walk, and take care of her home.

As she prepares to return home, Maggie’s house needs a deep clean—walls, cabinets, bathroom—as well as repairs to the plumbing and floors. She’ll also need a Home Health Aide and ongoing rehabilitation support to help her regain her strength. The funds raised will go directly toward making her home safe and comfortable, covering the costs of repairs, cleaning, nutritious food, and the care she needs to recover.

Maggie has always been there for her family and friends, and now it’s our turn to be there for her. Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in her recovery.
