Maggie isn’t just a dog—she’s family.

For the past 9 years, Maggie has been my mom’s constant companion, her source of comfort, and her very best friend. Through life’s ups and downs, Maggie has been right by her side—loyal, loving, and always there when she’s needed most.

A few days ago, Maggie suffered a serious injury after jumping off the bed and tearing a ligament in her leg. She now needs surgery to walk and live comfortably again. The procedure is urgent and comes with a cost of about $6,000.

Our mom is someone who gives so much of herself to others. As a single mom and Director of Education at her church, she has spent years supporting families, guiding children, and showing up for her community in meaningful ways. She is not someone who would ever ask for help—but right now, we know she could truly use it.

As her daughters, we wanted to step in and create this page to support both her and Maggie during this difficult moment.
