Help Maggie Get the Life-Saving Care She Deserves

Hi, my name is Brendan, and I’m reaching out for help for my sweet dog, Maggie. Maggie has been a part of my life since 2014, and she’s more than just a pet—she’s my family. I rescued her from a heartbreaking situation where she was abused and abandoned, and over the years, I’ve watched her grow from a timid, scared dog into her quirky, loving self.

Maggie was raised around two black cats, and she acts more like one than a dog—standoffish, quiet, but with rare and precious moments of affection. She’ll give a couple of kisses or let out a soft "roo" to show she loves you, and those moments mean the world to me.

Unfortunately, Maggie is now facing a serious medical crisis. She has pericardial effusion caused by a ruptured tumor. She needs an EKG and possibly open-heart surgery to save her life. I know this will be an expensive and urgent process.

I’m not asking for anything more than what Maggie needs. Every penny raised will go toward her medical care, and any money that exceeds her bills will be donated to a local animal shelter to help other animals in need.
