Help Maggie Fight End-Stage Renal Disease

Hi, my name is Maricela, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my dear friend Jessica and her incredible daughter, Maggie.

Jessica is a devoted single mom of two, and right now her family is facing something no parent should ever have to endure. Her daughter Maggie is bravely fighting end-stage renal disease (ESRD) — a life-threatening condition that requires ongoing dialysis, frequent hospital visits, and eventually a kidney transplant.

Through it all, Maggie has remained strong, creative, and full of love. She’s a long-time Girl Scout, a talented young artist, and a bright light in her community. She adores her family and brings joy to everyone who knows her.

Jessica continues to work when she can, but she has had to miss significant time to care for Maggie — creating a heavy financial burden. The cost of treatment, medications, travel, and basic household needs is overwhelming.

Jessica isn’t in a place to share this story herself right now — it’s simply too much. So I’m asking for help on her behalf.

Even with strong family support, Jessica and Maggie can't do this alone. Donations will go directly toward:

* Ongoing dialysis and hospital care

* Medications and transplant-related treatment

* Travel expenses for medical appointments

* Household and caregiving costs

Any additional funds raised beyond immediate needs will be placed into a trust for Maggie’s future medical care, which will continue throughout her life.
