Help Maggie get a home and assisted living

My mom’s story was Aired on CHEK NEWS on April 30 2025. She has been there for almost 2 weeks now please anything helps. Let’s get her out of there .Hello, my name is Theresa. My mom’s name is Maggie. My mom is a 74 year old elderly woman whom is 4 foot 8 and her physical and mental health have been severely deteriorating for the last couple of years. Up until this point my mom has had me taking care of her giving her a home to live in and food on her plate. Assisting with showers and daily activities. Unfortunately recent events have left me down and I sent mom back to Victoria because I was about to be homeless with a dog. I flew her back she went straight to hospital as her knee was bad. She stayed 2 weeks in the hospital and had no where to go She has no family there and no friends. The hospital knew she had nowhere to go and that she had very little belongings to her name and needed assisted living. Victoria general hospital discharged her to a homeless and addiction centre ROCK BAY LANDING where she now remains scared and alone, without proper care, no assistance she hasn’t had a shower in week and has no bed rail or safety medical equipment. My mom doesn’t drink or do drugs. She was discharged to a homeless shelter at 74 years old she uses walker can’t do stairs and needs assistance which she is not getting . I’m on my way there From Alberta to stay at the Rock Bay Landing with her so that I can help her and protect her, only if they’ll take my dog, I can’t believe this is happening, She doesn’t deserve this. Please donate what you can to help my mom afford proper housing and treatment and general day to day necessities. I appreciate this very much and so does my mother anything at all helps her get out of there thank you
