Help Maggie Do Her Dream Study Abroad Program!

Hi! I'm Maggie, and I'm raising money to go on the Spring 2022 voyage of Semester at Sea. This program is truly a once in a lifetime study abroad experience, where the students take classes aboard the MV World Odyssey, while traveling to 14 different countries spanning 4 different continents. Among the locations visited are South Africa, Vietnam, Singapore, and so many more! While on board, I plan on studying Oceanography and Sustainability, visiting different countries where there will be countless opportunities to learn about these important initiatives. Along with the educational aspect of the voyage, there is also an element of adventure! From hiking the Great Wall of China, to viewing the Taj Mahal in India, to exploring Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, this trip will allow me to see and do so many things that I never imagined I would be able to. However, with all of these great experiences, comes a pretty high tuition bill. Along with tuition and room & board, I will also need to pay for things like visas, fuel charges, immunizations, and in-country transportation, food and travel. With all three of my brothers due to enter college the very semester after my trip would end, it is a pretty big financial expense for me and my family.
