Hi everyone, my name is Maggie, and I am reaching out from a place of vulnerability and genuine need. At 38, I never imagined I'd be in this position, especially after navigating a difficult divorce and starting over on my own. I have always prided myself on my independence, but life has thrown some unexpected curveballs, and I can't do this alone anymore. My world currently revolves around managing a chronic health condition and facing an urgent situation with my best friend, my dog Dublin.

For years, I've battled severe, debilitating migraines that have impacted my ability to work consistently and live a normal life. They often leave me bedridden for days, making it incredibly challenging to hold down a steady full-time job. I was managing, barely, until recently when Dublin seemed to come down with a number of conditions all at once. He is not himself and needs emergency veterinary care.

Dublin isn't just a pet; he's my rock, the one constant source of comfort and joy through the isolation of my divorce and health struggles. He is my rescue dog in that he rescued me. He and I both need medical care but I've hit a wall financially.

My part-time income from odds and ends, combined with managing my own medical expenses and basic living costs and crushing student debt, simply isn't enough to cover Dublin's care. The financial strain is immense and adding significant stress, which in turn, worsens my migraines.
