Help Magda stay in the United States!

Hi everyone! We are fundraising to help Magdalena stay in the United States for another year to finish high school and start her life in America.

 

For those of you who don’t know, Magda came to live with us from Poland in August of 2021 and instantly became a loved member of our family. She fell in love with our country and our family and decided she’d like to stay here with us to finish her education.

 

In order for Magda to return to Fresno, we’ll need to send her to private school as public schools do not offer the specific visa she needs. Given the situation in Eastern Europe significantly impacting exchange rates and making it more and more expensive for Magda’s family, we want to help them be able to afford to allow her to stay and cover a portion of her many expenses, including private school tuition ($15,000), transportation, insurance, necessities, and additional school fees for things like uniforms, books, and meals.  

 

Magda has become part of our family and we want her to be able to stay, so we’re asking for your help! We know it’s a difficult time for everyone financially right now, so please only give what you can.

 

In the unlikely event that we overshoot our goal, we will be using extra money to provide for her transportation to and from school.

 

Help Magda come back to Fresno and complete her education in the United States!
