Help Magda and Jason's family with landlord saga!

If you can, please support Magda, Jason and their two young children. Their situation is outlined below. Anything will make a difference.

Friends—the Parc Ex landlord saga of them suing us for 27k has a court date next Monday (happy holidays to us!), which leaves us little room to prep. We are beyond stressed having moved out a year a half ago and dealing with their harassment since 2020. We have to find a lawyer (we don't have money for) that is available ASAP and despite the case being total bullshit who knows how the judge will rule. This is so much on J and I, especially J who has been doing most of the work on this at the expense of his mental health and music work. At this moment we need support.

If you want to do a little gift for S for Christmas that would be a huge help. Poor guy has also been living thru this hell as much as we have tried to shield him from it.

We might need some extra childcare/help with food during the week, to have time to organize our evidence, and calm down about this. We also need to know that there are people who have our backs, whatever form that takes.

We need a lawyer to give us some advice as soon as possible that doesn't need to represent us, for now. Ideally someone who can do this pro bono before we pay any retainers. Please don't suggest a tenant board, clinics, or legal aid, etc. because we have been going through all this for years. We need a lawyer.

We will also need a fundraiser/donation to pay lawyer fees. We hope this is possible given we are trying to fight an abusive Parc Ex landlord, a landlord that thinks they can get away with this. Too many landlords do.

We will also be looking for any reporters/journalists that wish to cover this story once we can talk to the public about it.

Tomorrow I have to go to police to file a harassment claim against them. I've been told police hate doing them and will be despondent.
