My family’s heartbroken. A devastating fire burned the home of our mother and brother. Mother’s a true pillar of the community and a proud mother. She drove a school bus for 35 years, spending countless hours on the road driving to games and making sure we had rides to practices. She did without for us.

This tragedy took more than a home. It destroyed decades of memories, from family keepsakes of loved ones who have passed to countless awards, newspaper articles, and photos. We lost all tangible legacy of our family.

She’s the strongest woman on earth. In the last two months, she’s had pacemaker surgery, started kidney dialysis, and now her home burned down. She’s still smiling. Look at God.
