Hi everyone, I’m fundraising to afford the cost of my medications this month.
I found out today that the medications I need require a special authorization which will take a minimum of a month (up to a few months) to organize with my doctors and the government.
I only have two tablets left of my essential medication that costs $670 for one month’s supply. This is the medication that is keeping me out of hospital.
My other meds costs $125 and $250 approximately. These medications have not been covered by pharmacare before and I am trying to advocate for their coverage.
I am desperate as I want to avoid another hospitalization. I’ve been working so hard to keep my health semi-stable and this will be a huge setback if I can’t get these meds in the next few days.
Any donations are super appreciated. I am working hard behind the scenes to advocate for this essential medication coverage through pharmacare. I am in this situation as I lost my health insurance in March. I am paying out of pocket for all that I can, but this is an unexpected cost and one I cannot avoid.

For transparency: This is being monitored by my mum (Laura Berry) and all finances will be going through her. I am on Income Assistance and cannot fundraise without losing all of my benefits. So, this money will go to my mum and she will be purchasing the medications for me.
