I set up this Go Fund Me page for my good friend Madori Playford, who is physically disabled. Earlier this year she badly broke her leg which required surgery followed by a long rehab. While Madori was in the hospital and rehab without access to her phone or computer, a person she trusted accessed her bank accounts, online accounts and electronic devices. She soon discovered that all of her savings, her phone, computer, and iPad, and even her late mother’s necklace were gone.

Madori’s sister immediately flew to Oklahoma from California to help. When she arrived, Madori was in the hospital with a balance of 96 cents across all of her accounts. Madori is now safely in California, where she is staying with her sister and nephew until she can get back on her feet.

Madori needs help renting an apartment and in replacing basic household items she needs to live on her own again. Any assistance you can provide will help Madori as she navigates an uncertain financial future, assists law enforcement in their investigation from thousands of miles away, and tries to rebuild her life.
