Madison Mcewen's, 16 years old, was recently diagnosed with a sudden onset of a severe case of Lupus Nephritis. Madison was hospitalized 3 weeks ago. During the past three weeks, Madison has been battling one medical issue after another. She has developed pneumonia, received multiple units of blood, discovered cardiac issues (PVC's and plural effusion), fluid around her lungs, heart, kidneys and bladder, damage to her kidneys that will require her to receive IV-chemo treatments for at least 6 months, staph infection in her lungs, and bleeding in both lungs. She was transferred back into ICU today, December 27 due to the bleeding in both lungs. She will have to receive multiple plasmapheresis procedures in an attempt to stop the bleeding in her lungs. There is no certainty of when Madison will become able to go home. Her mom, Aby Burrell Morris, has not left her side for the past three weeks. Of course, this is starting to cause a financial burden and stress on the rest of the family. With the uncertainty of how much longer Madison will be required to be hospitalized and any future medical requirements after hospitalization, the stress of not receiving an income is causing unneeded burdens. The family only wants their baby girl to be able to recover where she has 24 hour care until her health is self-sustainable. If you are able to help Madison's mom remain by her side throughout this difficult time and relieve some of the stress from the financial situation this is putting on the family, please donate to this very worthy family.
