Thank you for taking the time to read about the Young family! If you’ve been following Madison’s story, you know that it is one of resilience, strength, and determination. As you know, Madison was diagnosed with Spina Bifida at Amy's anatomy scan during pregnancy. Spina Bifida is a neural tube defect that impacts mobility, development, and the way the organs in the body function and will require lifelong monitoring and treatment. Amy and Zach have championed Madison since the moment they found out about her diagnosis. They quickly relocated their family from Memphis to Houston in order to have fetal surgery to give Madison every opportunity to succeed. Since about 4 months old, Madison has been receiving weekly physical therapy, developmental therapy, and biweekly occupational therapy. While these therapies have been incredible for Madison's development, Amy and Zach believe an intensive physical therapy is the PUSH that Madison needs to become mobile. Kinactive Kamp is a 2 week PT intensive with a specialist who has worked with Spina Bifida patients for over 30 years. Kamp includes daily 2 hour PT session and chiropractic care. Attending Kamp costs around $10k once Kamp, travel, and housing are covered. Kamp is not covered by insurance so the entire cost will be out of pocket. I would love to be able to take the strain of this Kamp off of the Young family. It is hard to have to choose between financial expenses and what is best for your child- and I would love for them not to have to make that choice.

- That God gives Madison the strength to push through the hard and exhausting sessions she will have each day.
- This will be extremely hard for Madison, but also very hard on Amy having to watch Madison struggle so bad during the intensive sessions. There will be lots of tears shed by both Madison and Amy. Please pray God gives her the emotional strength that Madison needs.
- As of now, it's just Amy and Madison going so Zach will be holding down the fort with the other 2 kids while continuing to work full-time. I'm sure he will have plenty of help while Amy is gone, but please pray it's not too hard on him.
- Amy will missing her other 2 babies so much so pray for her mama heart.
