Help Rebuild After a Devastating Fire

On what should have been a normal day, an abandoned church near Madison, Zak and Robbie’s home caught fire. To prevent the flames from spreading to nearby buildings, firefighters had to hose down the surrounding structures — including their apartment. While the quick action protected the neighborhood, the heavy water damage left their home severely impacted, as you can see in the photos below.

The fire — a five-alarm blaze at the vacant church in Pottstown, Montgomery County — forced evacuations of nearby homes and caused the church to collapse under intense heat. They have been told she will be displaced from her apartment for at least four months. They have fortunately secured temporary housing, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Unfortunately, renters insurance will not cover many of the essential items destroyed in the damage.

If you know Madison, you know she shows up for everyone around her — always with an open heart, a calm presence, and a willingness to help anyone in need. Now it’s our turn to show up for her. Any amount, no matter how small, will help her begin to rebuild and feel grounded again during this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
