Five weeks. That's how long Madison and Owen got to live in their first home before the Chelan Hills fire took it all. This year, they bought their dream house on 19 acres — a place where they hoped to start a farm and raise their growing family. They were still settling in, making plans for the land, when the fire swept through. They made it out with their lives, their dog, and a few clothes. Not much else. The house is gone, along with everything in it — their son's nursery, furniture, tools, and all the little things you don't think about.
Madison and Owen have a 16-month-old son and a baby on the way. Now, they're starting over from zero, and they're humbly asking for help to get back on their feet. Anything given here goes directly toward a place to stay while they figure out what's next, replacing essentials like clothes, shoes, and household basics, diapers and gear for their son, and preparing for the new baby. It will also help them take the first steps toward rebuilding their home.
They're not people who find it easy to ask for help, but right now they need it. If you're able to give, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you can't, sharing this page helps more than you know. Thank you for standing with our family while they rebuild.
