Help Madison Claire Fight Cancer!

Hello, my name is Kevin Zimmerman, a dear friend of Jenny, Jim & Madison Claire (MC). This is not about me, but about one of the sweetest and most beautiful little girls I've ever met, MC. I'm attempting to raise money for MC's medical treatment (story below).

So, why the GoFundMe page? SAVING BY SHAVING!!! Every single year, Granite Telecommunications, a valued supplier in our portfolio, hosts a "Saving by Shaving" event where people all over the country shave their heads in solidarity for pediatric cancer. This event raises MILLIONS of dollars each year and incentivizes people to participate with a $5,000 donation from Granite to Boston Children's Hospital in return for shaving their head (pretty amazing, right?). This donation, which is valuable, goes directly to Boston Children's Hospital, one of the best in the world! My goal - I'll be shaving my head on 3/11 to support MC, and I'd love to raise an additional $5,000 through friends, family, and the channel community to directly support Madison Claire. The Harrison Kauffman Family needs our help. This week, sweet Madison was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. She has already gone through surgery to remove a tumor surrounding her kidney and has had a port placed for upcoming treatments. We are still waiting to learn more about her chemotherapy and radiation schedule. The family is facing a challenging time, and our support is crucial right now.

UPDATE:

Madison was diagnosed on Friday (2/21) with a tumor surrounding her kidney. The wonderful doctors at CHOA moved quickly to have her admitted and surgery was scheduled for Tuesday (2/25).

The kidney and surrounding tumor were removed.

On Friday, they received the official diagnosis of neuroblastoma. Madison will have additional testing this upcoming week to help determine her best treatment protocol.

Madison is in good spirits today and is so strong! Please continue to pray for her results this week and we will update again soon.
