Help Madi Recover from a Devastating Accident

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out for support after a devastating accident involving our sweet 13-year-old Madi. What was supposed to be a fun afternoon with her 8-year-old friend turned into a life-changing tragedy.

While riding a side-by-side, the vehicle veered off the side of the road, and in an effort to correct, they lost control and flipped. The little boy was thrown clear and, miraculously, managed to get up and run for help. Madi, however, was pinned beneath the wreckage, unconscious, with her leg visibly broken in multiple places.

Within moments, we rushed to lift the vehicle off her, but the extent of her injuries was heartbreaking. The outside of her ankle had been completely ground off by the pavement, leaving a large, open wound. Her entire left side was severely road-rashed, with deep abrasions covering her arm, shoulder, hip, and leg.

She was stabilized by paramedics and airlifted to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, where she remained for over three weeks undergoing multiple skeletal procedures, skin grafts, and reconstructive surgeries in an attempt to save her leg.

Madi now faces a long, painful road to recovery, with months of rehabilitation ahead just to regain the ability to walk. The medical costs from her hospital stay, surgeries, and ongoing physical therapy are overwhelming.

As a family, we are doing everything we can, but we need your help. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward Madi’s medical bills, rehabilitation, and the specialized care she needs to heal and regain her independence.
