We are the Hill family and on a medical journey with our daughter, Madelyn. She will have shunt surgery at the end of May, we are awaiting exact surgery date. This surgery needs to be done with Children's Hospital Colorado's shunt team.

We have been encouraged to start an account here so people can make donations to our family. We are also sharing 'Team Madelyn' gear to help offset our upcoming increased costs. This is a way to support us without necessarily having any Team Madelyn gear.

Any donations received will go toward helping us travel from home to Colorado for surgery and recovery. We will have gas, meals, lodging costs to travel to Colorado, while inpatient for 7-10 days and further costs to stay in Colorado for another week (Airbnb or VRBO short-term rental type situation) for Madelyn to heal, do follow-up testing and see her team before heading home.

We will also have further follow-up appointments to travel to.
