Help Madelyn Get a Vertical Platform Lift

Hello friends. Our beloved Madelyn needs our help and we ask the community to come together in an effort to specifically raise money towards a Vertical Platform Wheelchair Lift for Madelyn's house. The money we have previously raised all went to clinic visits, dietary supplements & specially formulated liquid food (for feeding tube), and certain medical devices and treatments NOT COVERED by insurance. All of which Madelyn is extremely grateful for.

ALS continues to wreck havoc on not only Madelyn but those who love her most. We are now working towards a new, much needed goal to get Madelyn's house equipped with an elevator (to be installed on back deck) that her mobility wheelchair (weighs 450 lbs.) can fit. Her boys manually have to lift her up and down several flights of stairs in order to get her outside and to and from her doctor appointments which she must go to weekly. This creates a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety not only for Madelyn but for her boys as well because Madelyn is very delicate due to her ALS condition and there is a very real fear and chance that she can fall and get seriously injured.

The beautiful weather is here as well. We would love to get Maddy out of the house and outside as much as possible as you can imagine what it would be like being stuck inside all the time. An elevator would greatly improve Madelyn 's quality of life.
