Six years ago, I suffered a severe concussion that changed the course of my life. The resulting brain injury has made it difficult for me to continue my ministry work and academic studies, both of which are deeply important to me. But resilience have kept me going! Over time, though, due to unexpected traumatic situations within the past few years, including abuses from religious life and deceptive men, I have also developed severe anxiety, forcing me to pause my studies and step back from active ministry. This has been a challenging journey, and I have been searching for a path to true healing.
Recently, I found therapists and doctors who approach mental and physical health holistically. Due to that, however, they do not take insurance. I believe their methods—focusing on the root of the problem rather than just the symptoms—offers real hope for my recovery. With the right treatment, I am confident that I can regain my health and return to the work I feel called to do. The little I have done with them has already helped tremendously.
Your support would mean the world to me. It would not only help me access the care I need, but also restore my hope in my ability to flourish. I am eager to step back into ministry, serving the Catholic Church and supporting those who are suffering—whether in marriage and family, the vocational crisis of priests, or the confusion in today’s society about sexuality and the value of the human person. I am deeply grateful for any help you can offer. Your generosity is especially meaningful during times of suffering, and I promise that when I am back on my feet, I will give back to the community and the Church in both my work and personal life.
This fundraising goal will cover the next eight months of treatment. Don’t hesitate to contact me for more details.
