Help Madeline and Cally Find a Safe Home

Hello.

My name is Madeline, and with me in that photo is my sweet girl, Cally.

I‘ve never done anything like this, but recently, Cally and I entered homelessness after leaving an abusive situation. I planned for me and my girl to move into my car, that I am so gracious to still have. Within this situation though, I was extremely financially dependent on my abuser- and through attempting to use my last bit of money to tune up my car (getting an oil change, etc.), I learned my engine is on it’s last leg, and it could die at any moment. Now, me and my sweet girl are struggling to find a home. As of right now my primary income comes from DoorDash- which I’m sure you can see won’t work for the situation I’m in. Despite being on the hunt for another job, I don’t have much time left in the place I am staying, and my car was the plan from here.

It took me a long time to get to the point of creating a go fund me, but with learning my engine could die on me at any moment and virtually having to start over, I feel I’m left with no other choice. Absolutely ANYTHING helps, even just sharing this to a friend, could help me and my sweet baby be in a safe place again.
