Last night as part of a horrible fire that started north of Ashland, Oregon my daughter Madeline and her boyfriend Andy's house burned to the ground.
It was a scary day for all. This fire moved so fast taking all by surprise burning homes, businesses and anything in the way. The devastation is mind boggling.
The kids lost everything except their dogs and what they had in their cars. They had a wonderful house, with a garden and a fantastic shop with all of Andy's tools. It is overwhelming for me to think what it will take for them to get back on their feet.
I have started this page to reach out to friends and family who may want to contribute to help them rebuild their life. I'm not a fan of asking others for money, for me this felt like the right time to ask. Please do not feel obligated, sending your good wishes and thoughts to the kids would be wonderful.
