Help Madeleine & Tony with Lu’s Vet Bills

If you know Madeleine or Tony, you might know that they just adopted their newest family member, Lu, a week ago. Unfortunately when they brought home Lu, they did not realize she was sick. Over the last week they have spent an enormous amount of money trying to get proper care for her. Lu’s health deteriorated extremely quickly. After the second visit to an emergency vet, days later after the first, she is now fighting for her life from pneumonia and is in critical condition. Madeleine and Tony have now spent over 10k in vet bills, and might need to spend even more with a possibility that Lu might not make it.

Although I have not had the pleasure to meet Tony, I have known Madeleine for over a decade extremely well. I have never once seen her publicly ask for help, because she always wants to take on what life throws at her, and she always has. In this case Madeleine and Tony did everything they could have done while adopting an animal by setting up pet insurance as a fall back. There is a waiting period with pet insurance and adopting a dog that has a life threatening illness unknowingly set them up for failure. I am hoping as a community we can help relieve some of their financial stress, because I know Madeleine and Tony would do the same for others.
