Help Maddy Beat Cancer!
Donation protected
To know Maddy is to have met someone full of life. She is passionate, vivacious, and generous beyond belief. Day in and day out she shows up for her students with a smile on her face ready for the day no matter her own daily struggles. Being a first year teacher comes with its challenges; however, no one expects to be diagnosed with clear cell carcinoma, an extremely rare cervical cancer. After PET and CT scans, doctors have determined the cancer has not yet spread to other areas.
Now, at the age of 23, Maddy is forced to make impossible decisions and face more than most do in a lifetime. Maddy will have her eggs removed and stored for when she is ready for her future family of her own. She will then undergo radiation treatments to attack the cancer cells.
The goal of this fund is to help Maddy financially through this difficult time in her life. The costs of freezing eggs and radiation are no small fee. We are thankful this was caught early and want nothing more than for Maddy to come out of this cancer free. She has so much to offer this world with her endless supply of kindness. Many students are yet to be blessed with her passion and love for education.
Thank you all so much for your help and donations!
