Hi, my name is Kandra, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friends and coworkers, Kathie and Sam Carter. They care for their 10-year-old grandson, Maddox, who has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called ATRT — atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor.

Maddox has a long road ahead of him, starting mid-July with 6 weeks of radiation at KU Med Center in Kansas City, followed by several months of chemo at Children’s Mercy in Kansas City. Maddox is a fearless, brave, and tough little guy. He’s got this! ❤️
