We are reaching out in a time of deep need and heartfelt hope. After receiving news our daughter has relapsed from her rare and aggressive cancer. The doctor’s have no curative solution and aren’t sure how much time we will have with her.

Given this news, we are determined to make the most of the precious time we have together and create lasting memories. Maddie has always dreamed of visiting Disneyland, California, and Legoland. We are quickly planning a special 7-day trip to Disneyland, California, and Legoland, along with a few nearby national parks, from May 27 to June 5, 2024. 

Help Needed

This trip means the world to us, and we need your help to make it happen.Maddie’s illness has placed a significant financial burden on our family. I (mom) had to quit my job to take care of Maddie’s medical needs. While we have received other support to cover our basic needs and bills, we need additional help to make this trip possible. 

Why not a Wish Organization?

Maddie is not eligible for the Make-A-Wish Foundation or other wish-granting organizations because she received a wish at age 2 after enduring medical trauma at birth and a kidney transplant. This transplant, which we believe made her susceptible to cancer, was a miracle that gave us precious years with her.

Her Story

Our precious daughter, Maddie, who will turn 13 in July 4th, has been battling Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma since last July. On October 24, 2023, we received the devastating diagnosis of her rare and aggressive cancer. Despite undergoing a bone marrow transplant that nearly took her life in February 2023, the cancer has relapsed, and her doctors have informed us that they have already done the most aggressive treatment possible and don’t have many options left. They have consulted experts around the country and are attempting a new treatment that may extend our time with her, but the future is uncertain.

Our Budget Breakdown:

- **2-Day Park Passes for Disneyland:** $1,500

- **Tickets to Legoland California:** $800

- **7 Nights of Hotel Accommodation:** $1,800

- **Airfare:** $2,000

- **Car Rental:** $750

- **Souvenirs:** $500

- **Food (estimated at $100 per person per day):** $3,000

Total Budget: $10,350

We are asking for donations specifically to help cover the costs of this trip. Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring us closer to making Maddie's dream come true.
