My name is Steve G. I'm hoping to help my granddaughter pay for surgery required to save the life of her daughter's horse.

My 13-year-old great-granddaughter has been riding since she was old enough to sit in a saddle. Over the years, her passion for riding has brought her from lead line to equitation and now jumping. She has an impressive collection of championship ribbons on multiple horses and venues. Her most recent riding partner is Rosie, a 16-year-old draft horse measuring 16 hands. It's quite a sight to see little Maddie and massive Rosie navigating around the ring and over the jumps in perfect form.

Sadly, Rosie just had a severe case of colic and required life-saving surgery. Fortunately, Rosie is now on her way to a full recovery with Maddie being her ever-present caregiver.
