Maddie just graduated from the Radiology program at South Florida State College. For the past three years, she has worked part-time at GC Grillhouse in Lake Placid while studying full-time to build a better life for herself.

At six months pregnant, Maddie suffered the heartbreaking loss of her baby. She wants a simple cremation so she can keep her baby’s ashes close, but even this small cost is out of reach while she grieves.

The funeral home invoice is $610. We set our goal at $675 to cover that invoice, processing fees, and a basic urn. Any amount raised beyond this will go directly to Maddie’s immediate needs while she recovers — lost wages from being unable to work and help with transportation after losing her only car through no fault of her own.

Maddie has always worked hard while also helping to support her family. Through all of this, she has never asked for help. We are asking for her.

How funds are used:

$610 – Funeral home invoice (see uploaded invoice)

~$65 – Processing fees & basic urn

Any extra – Maddie’s recovery needs (groceries, bills, transportation help)
