The Rat Den is the longest operating DIY space in Albany. Having hosted over 50 shows and an insane amount of different musical acts, The Rat Den and the people who live there have made a strong impact on the local music community.

Due to some unfortunate circumstances surrounding unemployment, depression, grief, and financial difficulties, Maddie, who lives at The Rat Den, is significantly behind on bills, including power and rent. In order to keep this space as a home and a place for community, we are asking that those who are able and have enjoyed the community The Rat Den has been a staple of, to throw in a few bucks so we can continue to enjoy the space.
