❤️ Maddie’s Medical Emergency: Please Help Us Save Our Girl

Hi everyone,

My name is Arianna, and this is my sweet girl, Maddie. She’s only 3 years old, full of spunk, love, and the kind of bright, goofy energy that makes every single day feel lighter. Maddie is the dog who greets you with her whole body wagging. The one who seems to understand everything you say. The one who curls up with you when you’re sad and makes the world feel okay again.

A few days ago, everything changed. Maddie suddenly began struggling to breathe, coughing, and acting like something was terribly wrong. I rushed her to the vet, terrified, and after tests and imaging, we got the diagnosis:

Pulmonary Infiltrates with Eosinophils (PIE), also known as eosinophilic bronchopneumonopathy.

I had never heard of it before — but now it’s a word I can’t stop thinking about. PIE is an inflammatory lung disease that makes it hard for her to breathe normally. To hear that my young, vibrant, silly girl is fighting something this serious has been absolutely heartbreaking.

She’s been receiving treatment, medications, imaging, and constant monitoring, but the costs are piling up far faster than I can manage on my own. Every visit seems to come with new tests, new medications, and new bills. I’m doing everything in my power to care for her, but I’m scared — not just about the financial strain, but about the thought of losing her so young, when she still has so much life left to live.

Maddie is my family. She’s the reason I smile on days I don’t feel like smiling. She’s the little heartbeat that follows me from room to room. And right now, she needs help to keep fighting.
