Help Maddie, Addie and team go to Kansas City to compete!

Help Us Represent Massachusetts at Destination Imagination Globals!

Hi Friends and Family,

We’re Maddie and Addie Eppley, 8th grade twin sisters from Hopkinton, and we have some exciting news: our Destination Imagination (DI) team just won 1st place in Massachusetts and we’re headed to the Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri this May!

Destination Imagination is a creative problem-solving competition where student teams take on challenges that blend engineering, science, theater, and teamwork. Our team chose the “Worlds Beyond” scientific challenge, where we wrote and performed a fun sketch about someone on Earth trying to escape their gambling debts by fleeing to a seemingly uninhabited planet!

Turns out, they weren’t alone after all…

We built machines, designed costumes, and researched a real natural phenomenon to bring our story to life. The judges loved our performance and our teamwork, and now we’ve been invited to compete against teams from around the world at Globals!

But we need your help to get there.

Travel, lodging, and shipping our props and set pieces are expensive, and our team is working hard to raise funds. Any donation, big or small, will help cover the costs and make this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible for us.
