Help Madam and Simba fund

Hi my name is Carly, and I've done some crazy things in my time. There was the time I jumped out a plane! There was that time I crashed a moped on a driving test in the cook islands and ended up in hospital in with stitches (don't ask)! And there was that time I found myself in a miners riot in La Paz running away from exploding sticks of Dynamite (I'd explain, buts its a long story)! These were all quite crazy things but what I'm about to attempt, might just be the craziest thing I've done??? Yes that's right! I'm trying to save two stray dogs from Africa and get them back to the UK!! I work in costume for film and TV and I have just spent the last 6 weeks filming a TV show in Kenya which is a amazing country with great people and was an amazing experience. Our costume base was set in a old church and in the grounds were two street dogs called Simba and Madam. When the production first showed up they were in a bad state with bad injuries, infections and half starved. Before I got there a kind crew member fixed them up and got them fed and vaccinated. As they got to know us these nervous and shy dogs started to trust humans for the first time! They had such huge personalities and all they wanted was love! On my third day Madam got viciously attacked (still not sure whether it was a animal or a human) and was in such a bad way she would of died if we had paid for major surgery for her, which we did. She is still in the vets recovering as I write this but is doing well. I've travelled a lot and seen many bad things done to humans and animals but you find yourself having to be slightly detached in order to get by, which always leaves me with a sense of guilt. This time I broke my rule! I got very attached to these two dogs. I thought when I left Kenya I'd forget and move on, but I can't! I don't want these dogs to suffer anymore abuse than they already have. A lot of people when I have spoken about this situation, just say "Let nature take its course; Its the way of the world", but I've never been good at following the rules! There is a lot of horrible things going on in the world right now, so saving two stray dogs may seem stupid to some people, but I believe every life is important be it a human or an animal! So please help me do a crazy thing and get these dogs to the UK for a better life and to find the good home they deserve. Besides dogs are much better than humans! They don't start wars; don't cry if they snap a nail and don't have commitment issues! ;)
