Help Sweet Macy Get the Care She Needs

Meet Macy, a gentle, loving long-haired English Cream dachshund born in September 2020. She was recently returned to us—her original breeders—after her owners could no longer manage her care. Macy is family to us, and she’s now facing a medical challenge that requires urgent support.

Macy has been diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), a spinal condition that can lead to paralysis without proper treatment. She’s currently on strict crate rest, but there’s a chance she may need surgery, which can cost several thousand dollars.

We’ve been through this before—Macy’s mom had IVDD surgery in 2024 and made a full recovery. We know what it takes and are fully committed to helping Macy heal. But we need help covering the medical expenses that may come.

Macy is incredibly sweet and still full of life. Even in pain, her tail wags, and she just wants to be near her people.
